Transcript: Today I continued working on my Codes and Conventions for contents page and made sure to add finishing touches to my blog such as labels etc.. Then, I started to look at my checklist and take a look at the things I have missed out on or need to do. Lucky I'm up to date but there's still a few more things I need to do.
These are the labels on my blog:
As you can see I added many images/finishing touches to my Codes & Conventions: Double Page Spread document to make it look more appealing and attractive to the audience:

Today I uploaded my Existing Mastheads research and Names Ideas powerpoints onto my blog by using 'Scribd' and embedding the powerpoint codes onto new posts on my blog. Then, I began to work on Sell Lines and Ideas for my magazine, thinking of sell lines I could use for my magazine Front Cover and Contents Page. This was good because it refreshed my mind with new things I could introduce to my magazine, but I found it difficult coming up with original and exciting sell lines that would interest the audience.
This is the progress I've made so far on my Sell Lines & Contents Ideas powerpoint:

Today I finished my Existing Mastheads research and started on my Name Designs. Here, I thought about mastheads I'd consider having for the front cover of my magazine and put them all in different title fonts on powerpoint. The positive that came out of this was that it made me think about futher ideas for my magazine and what I need to do to make it successful. The only difficulty I had was thinking of the names and what name would be suitable and realistic for an R&B magazine.

Today I continued working on my Codes and conventions for my front cover, and finished it. I'd been working on it at home too so I found it quite easy to finish. I then started working on my Existing Mastheads research and collected mastheads from the internet that already existed and put them all onto a powerpoint. Hopefully this will give me inspiration for ideas for my masthead for when I make my own magazine.
This is my finished Codes & Conventions: Front page document that I have finished and have uploaded onto Scribd to embed onto my blog:

Transcript: Today I started doing my Codes and Conventions powerpoint for a front cover. Here, I explained the conventions of each section of a front cover and got half way through it. One difficulty I had with this was trying to set out my powerpoint so that it looked presentable. However, the positive I found is that I discovered I was far ahead with my work.

Today I added finishing touches to my preliminary task and added it to my blog again. Then, I continued working on my similiar product research for the front cover and contents page and just about completed them. Some difficulties I found with today was rushing to finish my similar product research in time. One positive thing about today's lesson was that I felt like I had accomplished a lot when I finally finished my preliminary task.

Today I started making my magazine. One difficulty I had was that we hadn't worked on magazines for a while so I found it quite hard to adjust and remember how to make one. However, the positive thing about this lesson was that it refreshed my memory of magazine-making and allowed me to be more creative with it.

Today I started working on my magazine for my preliminary task, uploading pictures to the computer and organising them. One difficulty was rushing in lesson in order to get these pictures up and get started on my work. We also started creating our blogs and adding labels etc.. This lesson was helpful for me because it allowed me to be organised with my blog and feel as if I am up to date with it. However, one difficulty I found about this lesson was uploading pictures as it was very easy to do this but it took quite a while which was quite frustrating as I had a lot to do. However I finished it all in the end.
This is all of my preliminary task photos we'd taken, uploaded to my blog:

Today we took pictures for our preliminary task which is to create a school magazine. The most beneficial thing about today was that I got all the pictures that I wanted. For my next session I'm going to start creating my magazine. One difficulty about the lesson was that taking pictures was very time-consuming with the group we were working in. However, once we had the pictures taken it made me sure of how I wanted my magazine to look for my next lesson so I was satisfied with this.
Here are a few examples of the pictures we took:

Today I worked on my similar product research annotating a Double Page Spread to put onto my blog. I also added finishing touches to my blog and made sure I had my labels in order and plenty of work on there. The advantage about this lesson is that I felt a sense of accomplishment after I organised my labels, because I felt like my blog was more neat and less messy. However the hard thing I found about this lesson was annotating the double page spread as you need to include every detail and this is quite difficult for annotation.
